Welcome to Pwllheli Cricket Club

Pwllheli CC 1st XI 2009
Cricket has been played in the town of Pwllheli since 1870. After playing for many
years at the 'Rec' in the Town, Parc Bodegroes has been our home since 1976. Together
with the rugby and hockey sections Bodegroes forms the thriving Pwllheli Sports Club on
the outskirts of the village of Efailnewydd. In glorious settings boasting
the best playing surface in the area why not come and play cricket.
The Club runs two senior sides playing in Division 1 and 5 of the North Wales
Cricket League and several junior sides ranging from under 9s upwards. The seniors
play on Saturdays with evening Junior matches played on a home and away basis throughout
the season.
The Club boasts several qualified coaches whose aim is
to improve the standard of cricket allowing youngsters to enjoy playing, improve their
skills and eventually play for the senior sides.
Training sessions take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm onwards with
Thursdays being allocated to Juniors.
