Pwllheli were disappointed to have possible victory taken from them at a soggy Parc Bodegroes. The predicted rain finally arrived around 5 o'clock leaving the home side no time to chase the small target of 81 set by Bangor.

Earlier Pwllheli's bowlers had shared the wickets in an excellent all-round display as the visitors crawled to their total. However, Pwllheli's reply was cut short after tea as water and then the seagulls filled the square.

With rivals Dolgellau winning at St Asaph, Pwllheli drop outside the promotion places and need an excellent performance, weather permitting, this coming weekend when they travel to Ruthin on Saturday and entertain 2nd-placed Dolgellau in possibly their most important game of the season on Bank Holiday Monday.
